Wedding Bells: Part 4 – Our photoshoot, of elements that matter

I like to think that I’m more blessed than other brides-to-be, with 2 pre-wedding shoots under my belt. And for the 2nd shoot, we got to feature some new items like our wedding bands and our DIY wedding dolls. It’s kind of a blessing in disguise too.

The brainstorming process wasn’t easy. Before shoot #1, I had lengthy discussions with Mister and Rachel about the locations, the elements to be featured, the costumes, the props, the logistics and so on. There were so many things to be considered as well as the unpredictability of Spencer and the weather too. Thankfully for both shoots, Spencer and the weather treated us well.

Thinking back, we had so much fun on both occasions and the best thing was, all the elements that matter to us was featured in the shoot one way or the other, be it Spencer, the dolls, the frogs, sunset, lalang field, NTU, cheongsam etc. A lot of thoughts and time (2.5 hours) went into the album layout too, to perfect it the way we wished for it to be.

Thank you Mister, for consoling me after shoot #1 that everything was alright, for assuring me that shoot #2 would be just as wonderful if not more, for making me happy and bringing out my best smiles for the shoot!

Thank you, Mister!

Thank you, Mister!

    Hi Miss Bakerholic,

I believe you signed up your wedding package with Yvonne’s Creative, right?
My fiancee and I did the same as well and will be taking our prewedding shoot next Friday. However, we just got to know that the photographer we had chosen got sacked by YC over the last few days. So now we will have to choose between another photographer (Sky) and Rick, who seems to be the one you chose.

Can you please offer me some feedback with regards to Rick? How do you find his style, demeanor, attitude, creativity and skills during the entire phototaking process? How’s the chemistry between you guys?
I will be dropping by YC tomorrow to take a look at his portfolio and make a decision so I really appreciate your honest inputs.

    Thanks a million!
    Vincent

      Hi Vincent,

Yes, we chose Rick and he is a very friendly photographer to work with. For our photoshoot, he even prepared his props as well. He was able to lighten the atmosphere throughout the day and made us feel at ease in front of the camera. Overall, we were satisfied with our photos! Hope that you will have a pleasant experience at your upcoming photoshoot too! 🙂
