Desolation Angel

There are a number of Planes in the World of Magic. So far my favorite one is Kamigawa. I will touch on that in a later entry!

As players of Magic, we are otherwise known as Planeswalker. We start off with 20 life each, with the aim of bringing down that of our opponents to zero. How we do it? With our cards.

There are few kinds of cards that one can include in the deck! Depending on the kind of format that you play, there are usually 60 cards in a deck with only up to 4 copy of the same cards allowed.

The thousands of cards out there are categorise under,

1) Land

2) Creature

3) Artifact

4) Sorcery

5) Instant – previously known as Interrupt. They have changed that since.

Remember when we were in Primary/Secondary school and they grouped us according to colors during Sports Day? In Magic, there are 5 different colors. ( White, Green, Blue, Red and Black )

The story comes in 3 sets per block with an average of 200+ cards in a set!

The final set Apocalypse in the Invasion block came after 7th Edition.

The set kind of provided closure to the story. For the longest time, the story been revolving around the same old people. Various main characters were being killed off. Can you imagine the shock that we get? Making a comeback only to find out that the story be coming to an end? Hahaha

Desolation Angel – Back then, I don’t know how good a card is. Usually, we take Keith’s word for it. Upon reading the review he told us about Desolation Angel. There’s usually 1 to 2 angel in a set.

And I got it in the first pack of booster that I bought =)
